DFH#3 server issues

misunderstanding with our server provider causes extended outage

After a trouble ticket was created to have DFH#3 added to our server providers new online server management console was created DFH#3 became unresponsive. For almost an hour DFH#3 was placed into a "linux rescue environment console" instead of the remote management concole making unable to respond to http (web) and mail requests. After some back and forth communication the misunderstanding was corrected and the server was placed back into service. From out server provider -

"I apologize for the confusion on your request. I miss interpreted that you were requesting the server be put into a rescue environment. Your server is back online responding to ping and sshd.

We are working to get the server support to include reboot/rescue/console.

Please standby for updates."

We at DFH also apologize for any trouble, confusion, or frustration that this outage has caused.
