After last nights scheduled maintenance was finished on DFH server #3 suffered a hardware failure involving its main hard drive during the wee hours of the morning. After a 21 hour marathon session (thanks goes out to all involved!) a new cloud hosting server is in place. This new server is much much
faster (holding up to 4 times the memory of our previous servers). All the domains that were working on DFH#3 have been moved to the new server (named DFH#4). Running on this new server is a new interface called Virtualmin. It looks different than Plesk but is much simpler and more intuitive to use giving more/easier control of the websites, e-mail and users. That's the good news....the bad is that all of the e-mail addresses and passwords could not be recovered from the old server. We request that if your e-mail is not working to please contact us (by e-mail from a different account to
info@darkfrenchhost.com or use our online
contact form) with the addresses and passwords that you had/request us to set up.
