June 14th was the day for some routine mail server maintenance that ended up causing mail interruption and the spam filtering software to lock up. The maintenance cleared over 600,000 backed up spam mails from the server. During this spam clearing the mail filters ceased to operate allowing many spam messages through to many customers inbox. The filters have since been restarted (started on June 14th near the end of the work day) and we apologize for any inconvenience that it caused. We have since implemented some code that will prevent spam from backing up on the server.
